I put the Christmas tree because that’s one of my favorite holidays where everyone gets together and jut has fun together as a family. I put the sunset since I always like going to the beach and seeing the sunset and enjoying the sun go down. on the top I put the airplane because i like to travel a lot and go to different places I haven’t been to before.
in my opinion these 2 episodes I watched where very entertaining. You have 5 photographers competing against each other. they all have to complete different challenges and the one who did not do as good as the others gets eliminated. each photographer was very different and unique in their own way. They all were working on a time limit and still managed to take very good pictures all different from each other. Its crazy how they all even timed had a good outcome with the pictures.
I chose this picture by Jerry Uelsmann. I chose it because it gives me early 90’s vibes because of the way the house looks and since its black and white. What I think he’s trying to convey to the viewers is the bottom is like the bark of a tree and the top is a house, those two combined makes it a tree house so i think he’s trying to show how a real life tree house would look like. What i like about this photo is how its unique ive never seen a photo like this one it caught my attention because the first thing that came to my mind was “tree house”.
Yes I think I have good composition. I think I edit them good because since I added saturation to them it made them pop out more. If I shot this assignment again what I would do differently is honestly I don’t know maybe find different framing. Maybe the picture with the red framing should be in the school blog because I think it’s an example of good composition.
these are the different lenses :
wide angle – wide angles give a wide expansion view. you use this lenses is used for when you take pictures of landscape work or sunsets.
standard lenses – range from 35 mm to 85mm. they are great for “walk around ” pictures.
prime lenses – these lens are one focal length. this lenses makes you focus more on composition and point of view.
telephoto lenses – this lenses is good for sports, wildlife, nature pictures. with this lens you need to use fast shutter speed.
the “fast lens”- this usually has an aperture of f/4, f/2.8 or larger. to slow shutter speed with make the picture blurry.
